Gallery Wrapped: your monthly camera roll personality
Gallery Wrapped is MemeScanr's monthly recap of your iPhone camera roll. It shows how many photos you added, deleted, compressed, and vaulted each month — and reveals your photo-personality archetype like "chronic screenshotter" or "golden hour hoarder" — based on your real scan data. Think Spotify Wrapped, but for your gallery.
How Gallery Wrapped works
On the first day of each new month, MemeScanr unlocks a Gallery Wrapped banner on the Home tab. Tap it to see:
- Monthly numbers — photos added, photos removed, space freed, scans run.
- Category breakdown — how many screenshots, duplicates, memes, and blurry shots you had.
- Personality reveal — one of 12+ archetypes based on your actual data (screenshotter, duplicator, hoarder, golden hour worshipper, etc.).
- Session note — a one-liner from your "phone therapist" that roasts your month with love.
- Shareable card — optimized for Instagram Stories, Snapchat, and iMessage.
When does Gallery Wrapped appear?
Gallery Wrapped becomes available in the first 7 days of each new month, recapping the month before. After day 7, the banner quietly disappears until the next month. This creates a natural habit loop — users come back to the app monthly just to see it.
Is it shareable?
Yes. Every Gallery Wrapped screen renders as a vertical 9:16 card optimized for Instagram Stories, Snapchat, iMessage, and TikTok. Tap the share button at the bottom to save as an image or send directly. No watermarks. No ads.

The personality archetypes
MemeScanr analyzes your actual scan data — screenshot ratio, duplicate clusters, most-photographed hour, meme density — and assigns one of 12+ personality labels. A few examples:
- Chronic screenshotter — more than 40% of your library is screenshots.
- Golden hour worshipper — most photos taken between 6pm-8pm.
- Meme curator — you save memes faster than you delete them.
- Burst photographer — every subject has 20 nearly-identical shots.
- Minimalist — under 500 photos in your entire library. Rare. We respect it.
